​Jesus Christ built and established the church and became the head of His Church, with the people being the body of Christ's church.

He is the authority and speaks in the scriptures as God, revealed it through the direction of the Holy Spirit.

The Scriptures are our only written standard for wisdom and salvation, teaching and guidance.  (2 Timothy 3:14 - 17)

In each local congregation, under the headship of Jesus, elders/shepherds(pastors)  are appointed to oversee local affairs.                  (Acts 14:23, 20:28).
