  1. Stay Alive With Jesus Devotional for 21/08/2023.
    Topic: "SUPERNATURAL ABILITY"

    Text: Luke 3: 21-22, 4:1-14.

In the presence of God there is liberty, the presence of God in the life of a man makes him to operate supernaturally. The presence of God with the lsraelites caused heaven to be opened. When the people obeyed God and purified themselves, He had no choice than to come down with the majesty of His eternal throne. His supernatural manifestation of His presence was the result. The Bible said that there was powerful thundering and lightening storms, blasting, fire and heavy smoke. And tell me what can stand these. When we do our part, then we will see God in the fullness of His glory. Psalms 114:3-4 reported that because of the presence of God with the lsraelites. "The sea saw it, and fled:. Jordan was driven back, the mountains skipped like rams , and the little hills like lambs". Child of God, the presence of God in you will automatically chase away every demon and infirmity in and around you.

The supernatural power of God flows in the direction of those who have genuine encounter with God in regular basis. Through this unusual power can come upon you as a gift, it is activated and operated by prayer and fasting. To be for God and against the devil, we must be much with God. Our ability to over and subdue satanic agents and their demonic operations lies in our regular and uninterrupted contact with God's anointing which is available in His presence.

*EZEKIEL MORE EXPLANATIONS* *ABOUT CHAPTERS 16; 18, 28**

    *Chapter 16*

    8. Jerusalem is compared allegorically to a baby born but abandoned and discovered and rescued by God. Yet, still she turns away from the God who rescued her 16.

*(I can interpret this allegory to us as church of Christ; remember where God took you from* *in order not forget Him! Chapter 16)*

Another allegory is given of two adulterous sisters, Oholibah and Oholah who represented Jerusalem and Samaria in *chapter 23.*

    9. *Chapter 18*

is a clear teaching that every man bears responsibility for his own sin and not the sin of his fathers. In this chapter, Ezekiel refutes apparently what was a popular proverb; The fathers eat four grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge *18:2.*
    *Ezekiel Chapter 18:2, vs 25, 19,29, Exodus 20:5* ,*

Ezekiel further warns about the importance of perseverance and the danger of backsliding. *18:2-24.*

    10. The Babylonian captivity Is compared to food cooking in a pot. *24:1-5.*

*11. Chapters 25-32* include prophecies against the surrounding nations and leaders including Ammon. *25:1-17, Moab 25:8-11, Edom 25:12-14, 35:1-15, Philistine 25:15-17, Tyre 26-27, the king of Tyre 28:1-19, Sidon 28:20-26, Egypt 29-30, Lebanon 31 and Pharoah 32.*

    12. At least a part of the lamentation against the king of Tyre *28:12-19.* Appears to be more than a lanent against just a human being. It sounds much more like some kind of Spiritual being many theologians see in this passage a reference to the fall of Satan which is some way later compared to the fall of the king of Tyre.

    13. *In chapters 37,* Ezekiel records the fascinating description of the valley of dry bones. This is a prophecy of the restoration of Israel as a nation.
